Photo Comment:  The building featured in this photo is the Hampton Inn.  This photo looks north, taken from the grade crossing on West Beech Street.  The two tracks in the foreground is the San Diego Trolley line, the other two tracks is the actual railroad (BNSF / Amtrak / Coaster).  I don't know thy there is a van parked on the trolley tracks.  Maybe a service vehicle?  Or, is this a local problem with vehicles driving on the right-of-way.  Note, due to some tree's around the motel, maybe the 6th floor will have the best railroad view.

Photo Comment:  This picture faces north from the railroad crossing on Front Street.  The hotel are the two towers to the left.  The double tracks on the right are part of the San Diego Trolley line, the single track on the left is the railroad (Coaster / BNSF Railway).  I am not sure of train frequency on this section of track.  The location is south of the San Diego train station.  Any room on a mid to high floor in this hotel will offer a railroad view.

Photo Comment:  This hotel provides one of the best railroad views in San Diego.  Center Left photo:  Commonly known as the San Diego Trolley, the SD-MTS Light Rail is seen passing the hotel.  The closer two tracks belong to the light rail system, while the 3rd track is used by Coaster and BNSF train's.  Center Right Photo: A view from the room window looking north down the tracks.
