Comments: This hotel is located along Interstate 95 (I-95). Hotel is just a tad far to walk to the Stamford railroad station (0.7 miles from hotel), but a short taxi ride can transport you to and from the train station. A 45-minute train ride will land you at Grand Central station in the center of New York City.
Photo Comment: (Left Photo): Hotel at left overlooks the busy Interstate-95, a 9-track mainline that passes through Stamford and a 10-track stub end yard used by the commuter trains. A majority of the trains are electric powered, though some diesel commuter trains will be seen outside the hotel. (Right Photo): The hotel is located on the north side of the tracks, thanks to the commuter train railroad yard outside the hotel, trains can always be seen. East side rooms will give you a better look of the trains parked in the yard.
