Location/ Directions:  Located about one hour due South of Rochester, NY; off of the intersection of Routes 390 and I-86, or two and one-half hours from Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

Railroad View:  Expect a Fair to Good View.  Railroad is located across the street, some building foul some of the view, but there should be enough open space to catch a good view of passing trains.  The B&H Railroad is a shortline, expect no more then one round trip train per day.

Railroads past Hotel:  B&H Rail Corp. (formerly the Bath and Hammondsport Railroad) is now leased and operated by the Livonia, Avon & Lakeville Railroad.  This is a shortline railroad, expect rail traffic to be minimal, likely not more then one round trip daily.

Photo Comment:  Top photo shows the standard motel building, a 1-story exterior corridor motor inn.  Middle photo shows the 5 cabooses; for an extra fee you can stay in a caboose.  The aerial picture faces westward.  The building with the red roof is the actual motel building.  The 5 cabooses can be seen to the right of the building.  The single track railroad can be seen across Route 415, behind some local businesses.  There is a open area where you should be able to view the passing trains.  This aerial image was captured during the AM hours, photographs and video of trains from the motel would be best in the afternoon.  This is not a busy rail line.  Expect no more than one daily round trip on this line.
