About Hotel: 3-Stories, Interior Corridors, Free Continental Breakfast, Free High Speed Internet, Free Local Telephone Calls, 27 inch Cable TV with HBO, Microwave & Refrigerator, Alarm Clock, Handicapped Rooms/Facilities, Pets Allowed (fee), Guest Laundry, Elevator, There is no swimming pool on site however Super 8 guests can use property swimming pool next door, Truck/Bus Parking.

Railroad View:  Good, Trains operate across the highway, about 1000 feet from the motel.  Rooms on the south side (front of building) face railroad.  2nd or 3rd floor is preferred to see over parking lot.  View is clear.  One or two trees are in front of motel, but it doesn't affect the view (you can see around them).

Railroads past Hotel:  BNSF Railway / Amtrak.  Railroad line is the BNSF TransCon Mainline (former Santa Fe mainline), about 60+ trains during 24-hours.  The Amtrak station in Kingman is a few miles west of the motel.  It's served by the Southwest Chief (# 3 + # 4, daily).

Notes:  This is a fairly new motel. 

Comments:  Trains are far enough away from the motel to be quiet.   

Photo Comment:  The aerial picture shows the Arcadia Lodge, a classic motor style inn motel.  The railroad is located just across the street with minimal obstructions blocking the view.  The railroad that you are looking at is a single track main with a switch for a stub end siding.  There is another main track out of view located about a quarter mile south of here.  Due to the mainline splitting in this area; expect to see only half of the 60 or so trains that pass through Kingman daily.  As a historical note; back in the glory days of this motel, it wore the flag of the Best Western Motels brand.

About Hotel: 2-Floors, 35-Rooms, Exterior Corridors,This casual motel off Historic Route 66 is 15 minutes' walk from Kingman train station.  Rooms provide satellite TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. Family rooms add extra beds. Parking is included. There's also an outdoor pool.

Railroad View:  Excellent View!  Most every room in the motel will offer a railroad view.  Tracks are just across the street.  Only one of two main tracks can bee seen from this motel.

Railroads past Hotel:  BNSF Railway / Amtrak (# 3 + # 4).  BNSF Transcon mainline splits just west of this motel, only the north track passes this motel.

Photo Comment:  The Ramblin Rose Motel can be seen at the top of this aerial photo.  Only one of the two main tracks can be seen near the lower part of this photo.  In the picture, you are looking at one main track and part of a stub end siding.  The track closer to the motel is the main track, so you don't have to worry about parked rail cars blocking your view.  Another main track is out of view, about a quarter mile south of this location.  Expect to see only half of the 60 or so trains a day through Kingman due to the split mainline.  Other motels in Kingman (except Arcadia Lodge) have views of both mainline tracks, those motels are down the same road; east of here.

Complimentary amenities consist of breakfast, area shuttle service, and parking with spaces for large vehicles. There's also an outdoor pool with sundeck and sunloungers, as well as a business center, meeting facilities and a coin-operated laundry.

Railroad View:  Excellent View!  2nd floor rooms on the rear (east side) or the south side will offer a railroad view.  Rip-Rap behind the building along the railroad may prevent view of trains for 1st floor rooms.

Railroads past Hotel:  BNSF Railway / Amtrak (#3 + #4).  This is BNSF Railway's TransCon mainline with a good 60 trains during a 24-hour period.

Photo Comment:  Looking across the double track mainline from Eastern Street, the upper floors of the Ramada can be seen.  These rooms face the track directly (this is the east side).  2nd florrs rooms on the south side will offer a railroad view as well.
