Railroad View:  Good railroad view from cabooses along the road, other cabooses may not have much of a view, or no view at all.  A walk outside will give you an excellent view.  Trains pass the front of the property. The Inn (house) should offer views from the windows in several rooms.  Most trains that pass the motel are scheduled tourist trains.  Know the schedule & you'll know right when they are to come through. Chances are, you will not be alone watching the trains roll by.  Often guests can be found out front waving to the passing trains.

Railroads past Hotel:  Strasburg Rail Road

Notes:  This is a popular family oriented motel.  Families with young children are the most frequent clients.

Comments:  Strasburg RR, Railroad Museum of PA, Toy Train Museum, and Choo-Choo Barn are located just down the road.

Picture Comments:  These photo's acquired from the motels web site show the railroad view from the front of the motel.  A quick walk from your caboose puts you on the front stage!  Trains do toot the whistle for the local crossing next to the motel.  This is Amish Country; the area is flooded with attractions to visit.  Besides the immediate area, take the kids to Dutch Wonderland (Lancaster, PA) for a day.
