Railroad View: Excellent. Motel is fairly new, located next to the Hill City train station, locally known as the "1880 Train", the Black Hills Central RR passes the motel. Any room on the front side of the motel will give you an excellent view.

Notes: The motel is expensive, but centrally located. It's nice to be able to walk to the "1880 Train". The train ride is a must if in the area.
Comments: I found this motel by accident; I didn't know how close to the station was. I checked in after dark, didn't realize the railroad tracks pass the front of the motel (and they are close!). I had a room in the back of the building, I guess it wouldn't have mattered, since I checked out and took the first train ride of the day.
